Yes, PicturesToExe outputs MP4, AVI and MPEG II files all of which can be played on a MacIntosh. You can produce 1080p output which will play perfectly on a Mac.

Hi Lin, can you tell us more. In my ignorance I thought PTExe was not available for Mac users.

Am I to assume with the latest version of PTExe this is am improvement or has this been the case for some time.

I have not read or seen any tutorials produced for Mac Users.

Any information would be very useful

Kind Regards,

John

John,

as far as I know: Using PTE, you develop and export your shows under Windows. Shows exported as exe-files only run under Windows. Shows exported as videos (MPEG-4 etc.) can be used on a Mac.

Hi John,

As Xaver replied, PTE isn't available as a MacIntosh native format program yet. The original question was: ...

.... is there any software avail. that will let me produce a slide show that can be played on a mac?

The answer to that question is yes, AVI, MPEG II and MP4 output from present versions of PTE can be played on a MacIntosh.

There are a number of people who use PTE on their Intel based MacIntosh computers running Windows with Bootcamp or various emulators.

Best regards,

Lin
