Work a slide show and save it as an exe file.

Deleting the original project (pte), as I can through the exe file, retrieve my project?

No, this is not possible. Even with software to decompile the executable code you can't retrieve a project because the project file is only used to program the executable and not saved as a part of the executable code. You "must" save the project file (PTE).

I have some doubts about this statement. I would guess that the exe-file includes the media, a playlist (pte-file), and a player, acting in a similar way as the preview, see also here.
