silas Posted August 2, 2003 Report Posted August 2, 2003 I seem to be having a little trouble just lateley. I use MP3 sound files but they have started to skip, repeat and go a bit funny. Am I doing something wrong or is this a known problem and is there an easy fix?TaSilas Quote
Igor Posted August 2, 2003 Report Posted August 2, 2003 1) What version of PTE you have tried?I highly recommend to try again with newest v4.10 beta #10:http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr_beta.zip2) What version of Windows you've installed and frequency of CPU? 3) Where exact the problem occurs - when you run created .exe file of presentation or in the PTE ("Customize synchronization" window)?4) Is there the problem with previous versions of PTE (4.01 or 3.80)?5) If beta #10 won't help, please try with several another mp3 files and let me know about result. Thanks, Quote
silas Posted August 2, 2003 Author Report Posted August 2, 2003 I am runnig Windows XP pro, Athlon 2000 processoer at1700, 512memory. pictures to exe. v4.01 tried lots of MP3s and most seem to have the problem, both on creation , but worse when made into a slideshow cd. It dosent always jump or skip in the same place though.Any help would be welomeThanksSilas Quote
Igor Posted August 2, 2003 Report Posted August 2, 2003 So the problem only with old version (4.01) of PicturesToExe?That's strange, because you have wonderful and very fast PC and modern OS! I apologize for this problem. Probably some incompatibility with sound drivers or there are many services in the memory (antiviral software, Norton Utilities etc) with high CPU loading. Please try newest v4.10 beta #10:http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr_beta.zip (1,3 Mb)It's only in two steps before a final release and this version 4.10 contains absolutely new music player. Quote
Guest guru Posted August 2, 2003 Report Posted August 2, 2003 Just tried beta #10 with .mp3 and .wma audio files under Win XP and a machine very similar to Silas': AMD Athlon 2200+, 512 MB Ram.All works fine, like in beta #9 too. Quote
