deskjet1uk
Hi Abdol,If you were to ask that question at the search engine Google, you would find several are listed, one in particular "7z is king in compression " but its down to a personal choice, I and many people I know use Win Zip, I do not think there is much to choose between any of them unless you are really into "program speak"At one time everyone would benefit from compression programs but these days modern computers can have a terabyte of memory.Anyway my vote for what its worth goes to the simple WinZip.Ralph
nobeefstu
AbdolRezaWhich one is the Best Compression Format ??Depending on your needs and uses ... various formats have particular strengths and weaknesses.I prefer to use 7zip format for overall function and compression when building installers. General everyday use and for wide acceptance I use zip format.Read up :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_archive_formatshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_file_archivers
lathompson
Which one is the Best Compression Format ?? Until I run into a need for more compression, I will use the simplest, most convenient one, Winzip. This way, when I send zipped stuff to clients that have little knowledge of computers, they don't get confused. Most have PCs and decompressing is as simple as right-clicking and choosing to extract. I don't know, perhaps some of the other methods work the same way. I've never had the need to make a change and don't see why I should now. So, .zip is my choice. FWIW....larry
