Guest Yachtsman1 Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 In my Elements 5 & Canon Photo software, the font style is depicted in the font name. It would simplify selecting alternatives if this could be incorporated in PTE.Yachtsman1 Quote

Guest Yachtsman1 Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 ERICSEEhttp://bluefive.pair.com/fontpage.htmHi KenDownloaded the file to my programmes folder, opened the zip & installed. But--------- I don't see how this changes the fonts shown in PTE to their actual shape. I could use the Font Page icon to open the programme and using it to identify what particular font I am thinking to use. But this doesn't do what I asked, IE show the actual font style with the font name.Regards Eric Quote
davegee Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 Eric,If you type some text into O&A then go to Properties you can outline the text font and use your up and down arrows on't' keyboard to step through the different fonts and see how they look on the screen in real time.I find that this is a good enough procedure - would you agree?DaveG Quote

I use elements 5 and am used to being able to view a font without having to resort to looking in other sources.Regards Yachtsman1 Quote
