Hi, I just converted my free download of PTE and purchased it. I was issued a Key number in the form of a text file. I followed the instructions and clicked the nag screen to load key, it says it was successful. But in checking the registry, I notice the "Key" was added but no Value to activate. Any help?? I sent emails to the Regnow people they referred me here. I also sent an email to support persons here also. This is really frustrating. I notice on the Order Detail sheet, that they treated me as a European customer for pricing. Is this a possible problem????

Thank you....jongru

Jongru,

I had the same problem with my registration key and had to get another one sent from the support team to get my PTE copy activated properly. If you received an attached PTE.txt file, try the following:

1) Close all running copies of PicturesToExe.

2) Save attached file to any folder

3) Run PicturesToExe.

To register your program press

Help | Registration... | Load Key

and then select saved file.

The program should be registered now " if " the key was a good one!

If this didn't work, then you'll need to send an email to the support team at WNSoft to get a new key sent to you. Their email address is:

support@wnsoft.com

Inna or Igor should contact you to get this resolved. Since it's the weekend already it may take them until Monday or Tuesday to get a new key to you via email. They will get you up and going, but it may take a few days. While you're waiting, you may want to review the posts in this forum as there is really some very informative threads on how to use this great product. There have been numerous updates (via Beta changes) recently and Igor has been working overtime to make this product even better.

Good luck to you and hang in there as they will get this fixed.

Regards,

Fred

Hi Techman and All,

I fixed the registration key myself. The instructions that came back when I registered the PTE for loading the key is wrong. I opened the Reg.Txt file in Notepad and then saved it to my desktop as Txt.Reg. Since this is a registry entry I just double clicked on the file icon. Voila !! Done. Worked fine.

I think Igor ought to notify the Registering company to correct the instructions as I am obviously not the only person effected.......jongru
