thedom Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 Hello everybody,It's a long time since I didn't posted anything new. Here is something I made this afternoon. Download this demo here : http://www.thedom.fr/share/dload.php?actio...amp;file_id=302 (1.95Mb).I used masks to make a kind of polaroids animation. Watch it to see what it looks like. Each slide uses a single picture. No photoshoping needed with the masks !This demo is perfectly smooth on my pc but as it is new, it might be jerky on older pc.As usual, comments welcome. Quote
sanewcomb Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 Hi Dom,It looked pretty neat, except I found the images moving within the polaroid frames odd. I would expect them not to move.Steve NewcombTucson, AZ USA Quote

mightec Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 Hi DomGood to see you back doing what you do so very well, innovative slideshow presentations. Great effect, wouldn't expect anything less from TheDom. Are you into flower photography now, how is the new camera working out, if these photographs are the result, pretty well I should think. Quote
Guest Yachtsman1 Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 Hi DomSlight jerkiness on my laptop, the final fade was not smooth, seemed to be in steps.Regards Yachtsman1. Quote
thedom Posted February 8, 2009 Author Report Posted February 8, 2009 Thank you for your comments guys. The 2 flowers are pictures I took last summer in my garden. You can see them in my photo gallery here : http://thedom.fr/gallery/macros-avec-marumi-330/The little boy is one of my nephew. For those of you who missed it, you can see those pictures of my garden (and others I took) in my "Nature Book" slideshow : http://thedom.fr/share/dload.php?action=file&file_id=299I am very happy with my new camera. I wish springtime will come quickly to continue to take macro pictures.I still have a huge work to make with the pictures I took of my safari in Tanzania to make a slideshow. Almost 2.000 pictures and videos ! IMHO, too bad PTE does not offer a basic feature to include them... Quote
Ken Cox Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 why dont you put the videos up to youtube/vimeo for all the world to shareor convert the exe to mp4 and combine the videos with the mp4 and burn to dvd ?ken Quote
