Guest Yachtsman1
I am about to start compiling a show with 300 plus slides. This will eventually be burned to DVD. In the past when I have done this with shows with large number of slides I have sometimes got error messages saying the file is too large for the disc. I have then just ignored the warning and the DVD has completed burning fine. I can only burn the disc using my laptop drive & I'm not sure if it will burn dual layer discs, nor am I sure if a dual layer disc will make any difference. Any pointers would be appreciated. Is there a way of estimating the size on disc before starting the burn. I use 5.6 BTWYachtsman1

Guest Yachtsman1
Thanks KenIt appears the max size for a 4.7gb DVD-R disc is an exe of 2100mb, however there wasn't any comment regarding using 8gb dual layer discs. I will do some more checking on my drive to see it will handle dual layer.Regards Eric.
