boxig
Hi all,Since I know every one of you guys has a Thumbnail program, I would liketo hear your opinion. I'm planing to make a unique tool which will do this:Browse to open jpg and Image is displayed clean on screen without any border in 320 x 240 size. Now you use keyboards arrow, Up, Down, Left, Right to change Image size accordingly and the X,Y are displayed on image. When you like what you see, you click on image and Image is saved as jpg inthe chosen size. Thanks to Robert's suggestion (see below), now you can crop the imageand play with the X, Y with the arrows. The croped image will be resizedto 320 x 240 and you resize it from there. Please post here your thoughts.ThanksGranot
Guest Techman1
Granot,That sounds like a nice utility. I would like the ability to also default a whole directory to the selected size based on the initial image size selected. This might be added as a batch type process. I would certainly give it a try. Thanks,Fred
LumenLux
Granot, I think your idea has potential to be useful. I think if you could add a crop feature, that would make more useful. Often a size change is needed because of a desired crop of the photo. I would like to see a stretchable crop frame which could be easily repositioned after the desired crop size is layed on the photo. Would such features fit with what you had in mind? boxig
Fred, multi resize maybe on future versions. The main feature ofthis tool is the ability to manimulate the X,Y of the image andsee it on screen.Robert, this was really tough !Ok, now you can crop the image and play with the X, Y with the arrows. The croped image will be resized to 320 x 240 and you resize from there. This was a great suggestion and great headache.Granot
LumenLux
Robert, this was really tough ! Does this mean that you have it done already?! I can't locate it on your normal site. If you do have it ready, you obviously work very well with a headache. Thank you, I look forward to trying it out.
