Reducing volume on soundtrack for 1 slide

I have got a slideshow with a background music track but I want to fade this completely for 2 slides which have their own music added as a sound clip. I cannot see how to do this. Is it possible please? Thanks

No, at present time, there aren't any sound edition functions within PTE. Several users have requested for better audio functionality, let's hope for the future. See also the FAQ section on PTE Usage provided by Peter (fh1805).

Many of us use the free sound editing software Audacity, it also has a forum to help you through the learning process. Once you get into audacity, the audio variations & editing tools are excellent, and the best thing is it's free

You can find the link to the forum & from there to the official free download site, if you decide to search for it, beware there are lots of sites selling the programme, use the official route & it's free.
